Strategic Finance Manager

Location: New York City, United States; on-site

Salary: $188,000–$235,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Own quarterly and annual planning, supporting company strategy, resource allocation, and decision-making.
• Build and maintain financial models, unit economics frameworks, business cases, and long-range plans.
• Partner with executives and cross-functional leaders on strategic initiatives and capital allocation.
• Define financial and operational KPIs, build dashboards, and identify growth and efficiency levers.
• Monitor performance metrics, financial results, and cash flow while delivering reporting and business insights.
• Prepare Board materials, support future fundraising, and build a scalable finance function.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, or a related role at a high-growth technology company.
• 1–2 years of investment banking experience at a top-tier firm.
• Expert financial modeling skills, including building models from scratch and stress-testing assumptions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to influence without authority, take ownership, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel; SQL or BI tools are a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS and familiarity with ARR-based metrics.
• Familiarity with accounting ERP and financial planning tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
