Strategic Finance Lead

Location: San Francisco office; on-site

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and improve the company financial model covering revenue, headcount, operating expenses, gross margin, and cash.
• Lead company planning and ongoing forecasting, translating operating plans into financial outcomes and resource allocation decisions.
• Partner with functional leaders on budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis.
• Develop a detailed understanding of SaaS unit economics, including gross margin, customer acquisition, retention, and sales efficiency.
• Build scenarios and analytical frameworks for investments, pricing, headcount, and other strategic decisions.
• Establish the models, processes, and operating cadences for the Strategic Finance function.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a similar field.
• Experience owning financial models, forecasting, and planning processes in a high-growth technology company.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems independently.
• Experience partnering with functional and executive leaders and translating analysis into clear recommendations.
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models, growth metrics, and unit economics.
• Ability to communicate clearly, challenge assumptions constructively, and turn strategic questions into structured analysis and actions.
