Chief of Staff, Public Sector Engineering & Security

Salary: $182,400–$228,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Act as an extension of the VP of Public Sector Engineering & Security in executive meetings, client development, presentations, problem-solving, and special projects.
• Lead strategic planning, define business priorities, align senior leaders, and drive initiatives tied to key performance indicators.
• Own leadership meetings, all-hands sessions, offsite events, executive deliverables, and the business unit’s operational rhythms.
• Prepare executive-level reporting on progress and blockers.
• Serve as the primary liaison to finance, communications, marketing, legal, engineering, sales, and operations.

Requirements

• Outcome-oriented, proactive, analytical, and comfortable operating in an intense, fast-moving environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including technical discussions with engineers and executive-level communications.
• Ability to build high-trust relationships across the organization.
• Experience leading small teams and managing multiple complex workstreams.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
• Intellectual curiosity about AI and machine learning, particularly applications that advance national security.

Nice to have

• Top Secret U.S. security clearance.
• 4+ years of experience in a strategic, analytical, and operational role.
• 2+ years of experience in top-tier consulting, venture capital, or technology.
• MBA, JD, or technical degree from a top program.
• Experience using Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools.
