Senior Forward Deployed Engineer - Public Sector (AI)

Location: Remote in North America; must be based in EST. Travel to customer sites 20–40% of the time.

Target annual compensation: $220–240K OTE.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end deployment and technical implementation of the Tines platform in complex enterprise environments.
• Integrate existing systems, configure customer-specific workflows, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Train technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive adoption across customer organizations.
• Identify new use cases and expand platform adoption across teams, workflows, and business units.
• Act as the primary technical advisor, troubleshooting issues, delivering workshops, and resolving blockers.
• Share recurring customer needs, friction points, and high-value use cases with Engineering, Product, and GTM teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Integration Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Software Engineer with customer exposure.
• 5+ years of experience working with public sector or federal customers.
• Strong engineering skills for owning integrations, troubleshooting production issues, and understanding customer infrastructure.
• Strong Python skills; TypeScript, Java, or similar experience is preferred.
• Production experience with LLMs and AI systems, including prompt engineering, agent workflows, and deployment at scale.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
