Test Engineer (Space)

What you will do

• Develop and design electronic units for flight equipment in line with project schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements.
• Define test procedures and associated test scripts to automate and simplify the validation process.
• Perform functional, environmental, and EMC test campaigns.
• Complete qualification and acceptance of electronic units and verify final compliance.
• Report to the Project Manager and Test Manager while collaborating with the wider engineering and test teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a science discipline.
• At least two years of experience in validation and verification of electronic units.
• Negotiation-level English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Experience or capability in task automation, scripting, digital design tools, and simulators.
• Strong communication, reporting, teamwork, customer orientation, and autonomous working skills.
• Applicants must have current work authorization; visa sponsorship is not provided for US positions unless specifically stated.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of space-environment constraints and European space regulations, including ESCC and SMD.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of advanced test instrumentation, scripting, and test data management.
• Willingness to learn and teach others.
