TL;DR
Senior Manager Production (Manufacturing): Leading welding and metal fabrication operations at the Ciudad Acuña plant with an accent on safety, quality, production planning, cost control, and continuous improvement. Focus on managing large operations teams, coordinating engineering changes, solving complex manufacturing problems, and delivering Lean and cost-reduction initiatives.
Location: Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico; onsite five days per week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Sponsorship for foreign candidates is not available.

What you will do
- Lead daily production operations focused primarily on welding and metal fabrication.
- Deliver production plans measured in units and base hours while managing personnel, equipment, processes, capacity, and consumables.
- Set objectives, assign accountability, coach team members, and monitor performance across the Operations team.
- Maintain safety and quality performance, including zero-injury objectives, PPM indicators, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Control labor, overtime, and consumable costs while implementing recovery actions for operational deviations.
- Coordinate engineering changes and cross-functional projects with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and Quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
- Experience in staff and supervisory positions, including leadership of large-scale operations teams and frontline or mid-level leaders.
- Knowledge of industrial welding, metal fabrication, quality management, production planning, manufacturing costs, and process optimization.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, planning, organizing, influencing, and performance-management skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Acuña, Coahuila, five days per week.
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or certification in continuous improvement, quality, or structured problem solving.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and tools for analysis, operational monitoring, and results communication.
- Experience implementing cost-reduction projects and coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and process engineering teams.
