Consultant - Marketing Data Science & AI

Location: United States; candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location. Consultants may work onsite at client locations, and between engagements are expected to work from a hirify.global office or approved coworking location at least three days per week.

Base salary: $95,000–$116,000 annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with client leadership, engineering, program management, and analytics teams to define data needs and business challenges.
• Acquire, process, and analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Build predictive models, machine learning algorithms, datasets, measurements, and analytical services.
• Design, fine-tune, and deploy LLM-based systems using models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, and Mistral.
• Develop GenAI applications, including conversational systems and agentic AI solutions, while addressing GDPR, the EU AI Act, and model licensing requirements.
• Communicate findings through presentations, dashboards, datasets, bots, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• Master’s or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with at least one GenAI application framework, such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and knowledge of proprietary and open-source model ecosystems.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience building agentic AI, conversational AI, or chatbot systems.
• Knowledge of machine learning and statistical techniques.
• Experience with data visualization and deploying models at scale in production.
• Understanding of MCP and related protocols for connecting LLMs to external tools and databases.
