What you will do
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise data science and AI/ML initiatives within a large-scale federal modernization program.
- Design, validate, deploy, monitor, and scale machine learning and advanced analytics solutions in production.
- Lead MLOps implementation for model lifecycle management, automation, observability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop NLP, LLM, deep learning, reinforcement learning, anomaly detection, and time series solutions.
- Design real-time and event-driven analytics pipelines and integrate AI/ML capabilities across distributed enterprise systems.
- Establish AI governance practices, improve analytics reliability, present findings to stakeholders, and mentor data science teams.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in data science, AI/ML, advanced analytics, or enterprise modernization.
- Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, MLOps, real-time analytics, and distributed data environments.
- Strong experience with Python, R, Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Databricks, DataOps, CI/CD, and Agile/SAFe delivery.
- Ability to lead complex multi-contractor initiatives, communicate with executive stakeholders, and mentor technical teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale federal modernization or enterprise analytics transformation programs.
- Experience implementing responsible AI and enterprise AI governance initiatives.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, streaming analytics, operational AI, and DevSecOps-enabled delivery.
