Payroll DS Manager (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Bogotá, Colombia or Taguig, Philippines

What you will do

• Manage accurate, timely, and compliant end-to-end payroll delivery for assigned countries.
• Oversee payroll controls, approvals, reconciliations, accounting entries, statutory remittances, and audit readiness.
• Manage relationships with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, IT, Procurement, Employee Relations, and third-party payroll vendors.
• Lead a matrixed team through hiring, performance management, coaching, career development, succession planning, and resource allocation.
• Lead payroll, statutory, compliance, system implementation, transition, and transformation projects.
• Drive payroll process simplification, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Payroll, HR, and/or Finance operations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a management or people-leader role.
• Strong experience managing multi-country payroll operations, controls, compliance, audits, and statutory requirements.
• Experience leading teams through change in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication abilities required.

Nice to have

• Experience with knowledge management systems and compliance frameworks such as SOX and business controls.
• Certification in Payroll, Project Management, Analytics, Lean Six Sigma, or Design Thinking.
