TL;DR
Human Resources Specialist (HR Operations): Managing onboarding and offboarding for supported employees and clients in a hybrid Medellín role with an accent on HR data accuracy, client support, and employment-law compliance. Location: Hybrid role based in Medellín, Colombia; candidates must currently reside there.

Salary: $80.3M–$90M, plus equity.

What you will do

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for supported employees with internal Immigration and Payroll teams and external providers.
  • Support clients with benefits, international payroll, expense reporting, and other HR matters as a regional expert.
  • Manage client relationships and drive employee and client satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
  • Maintain and audit HR records, employee documents, contracts, and job-specific information.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment law and applicable collective agreements, escalating remediation needs.
  • Identify root causes of operational issues, support resolution, train new team members, and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 4–6 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Mexico labor regulations are required.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Expert knowledge of onboarding and offboarding processes, with practical experience in Brazilian labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, conflict-resolution, research, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience working in EOR or HR outsourcing.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Experience collaborating with Product teams.
