Buyer II - Indirect Procurement (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop a strategic indirect procurement supply base.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage RFIs, RFQs, Master Services Agreements, and commercial agreements.
• Source automotive indirect services, goods, and equipment while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery.
• Own automotive indirect sourcing activities, including supplier readiness, precision fit, risk mitigation, and launch timing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement cost reductions, improve supplier quality, and ensure compliance with general terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8–10 years of indirect procurement experience.
• Proven experience sourcing automotive indirect services, goods, and equipment.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, interpersonal, negotiation, and business case analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and implementation, such as SAP, NetSuite, or Zip.
• Ability to identify process issues, drive operational improvements, and complete projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
