Manufacturing Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Berlin, Germany; travel up to 10% across Berlin.

Salary: €67,000–€78,000 gross per year, plus pension and insurance benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with contract manufacturers to support production and product quality.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA activities.
• Support process validations, product transfers, and manufacturing changes.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Collaborate with Quality, R&D, Procurement, Operations, and suppliers to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Manage technical projects and deliver improvements across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing, process, or production engineering.
• Experience in a regulated industry and knowledge of quality systems.
• Experience with process validation, root cause analysis, suppliers, or contract manufacturers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Fluent German and professional English required.

Nice to have

• Medical device industry experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
