Material Control Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Tualatin, Oregon, United States. Onsite work in a shop and warehouse environment.

What you will do

• Support production schedules by validating part availability and preparing workorder kits.
• Receive, inspect, store, ship, and transact materials and parts.
• Perform cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and update dashboards.
• Organize storage locations, maintain visual controls, and manage inventory using lean principles.
• Use a forklift to move heavy metals and plastics safely.
• Communicate progress, escalate issues, support process improvements, and train colleagues.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of warehouse or material control experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• 2–3 years of ERP and order management experience.
• Forklift certification and Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, collaboration, time management, and independent problem-solving.
• Ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, climb, and work while standing or walking for approximately 90% of the time.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop and warehouse with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, noise, and vibration.
