Material Handler – 1st Shift

Location: Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, USA; onsite, 1st shift Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

Pay rate: $20.75/hour for Material Handler I or $22.25/hour for Material Handler II

What you will do

• Pick warehouse parts and deliver materials to assembly areas to support production and customer demand.
• Work with production lines to optimize the use of people, materials, and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to transport materials when required.
• Enter, maintain, and transact material information in the company ERP system according to role level.
• Participate in Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Productivity, and 5S programs.
• Complete forklift daily checks, required training, and assigned procedures while maintaining good attendance.

Requirements

• Material Handler I: 0–2 years of experience; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Material Handler II: 1–3 years of experience, intermediate PC knowledge, and ability to resolve intermediate problems.
• Material Handler III: 2–5 years of experience, experience coaching and training employees, and experience leading or forming teams.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, effective communication, teamwork, and basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and use computer systems.
• Ability to stand and walk regularly and occasionally lift 25–50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Previous experience operating a forklift or other material-transport equipment.
• Experience entering, maintaining, and transacting materials in an ERP system.
