Marketplace Operations Lead (AI)

Location: Fully remote within the United States

Base salary: $185,000–$230,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own marketplace pricing, including instant quotes, manual quotes, dynamic pricing, and pricing experiments.
• Design Pro incentives and build market-by-market, service-by-service supply planning systems.
• Partner with Product on job matching, distribution, and Service Completion Rate improvements.
• Build forecasting, monitoring, and operating systems for highly seasonal demand and supply.
• Use AI-first and agentic tools to automate marketplace planning and operational decision-making.
• Lead recommendations through execution and measure their impact on completion rates, margins, and contribution LTV.

Requirements

• Meaningful experience with two-sided marketplace dynamics and marketplace supply and demand.
• Experience owning dynamic pricing, quoting, yield, or comparable decisions with direct P&L impact.
• Ability to build forecasting and incentive-elasticity models independently.
• Strong AI-building capabilities, including agentic systems, evaluations, context engineering, and guardrails.
• Ability to drive cross-functional strategy without direct authority and execute recommendations end to end.
• Degree in analytics, business, or a related field, or 7+ years of experience in marketplace supply and demand, operations, or equivalent roles.
