Trading Manager Germany & Austria (AI)

Location: London office, hybrid with an expectation of being in the office 2 days a week; full office presence and travel to the Amsterdam office during peak periods.

What you will do

• Own the trading function for Germany, managing stock availability, forecasting, sell-through, and waste reduction.
• Set site pricing and work with range teams on bestsellers, market needs, product costs, and pricing architecture.
• Own the German on-site experience, including product ordering, demand drivers, experimentation, and the AB testing roadmap.
• Prepare and deliver peak trading periods including Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day.
• Lead trading meetings and collaborate with operations, central planning, range, product design, UK, and Netherlands trading teams.
• Build and embed AI tools and agents for forecasting, demand-trend detection, reporting, and trading workflows.

Requirements

• Significant experience in an operational, analytical, financial, or consulting role.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including building and interpreting data models.
• Analytical mindset with strong numerical skills; a STEM background is a plus.
• Fluent English speaker at C2 level.
• Collaborative communication, relationship-building, stakeholder management, ownership, and prioritisation skills.
• Proven experience using AI tools to automate reports or streamline analysis.
