Global Communications Business Partner (Flu and Covid)

Location: Morristown, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work arrangement. U.S. and Puerto Rico residents only.

Salary: $174,750–$252,416.66 annually for North America applicants.

What you will do

• Define and drive global internal and external communications strategies for Flu and Covid products and pipeline assets.
• Advise global brand teams, Medical Affairs, R&D, Public Affairs, Commercial Operations, and other expert functions.
• Develop and implement annual communication plans with cross-portfolio, franchise, and market communications teams.
• Lead communications strategy for the establishment of Flu/Covid combination vaccines for older adults.
• Manage media relations, editorial planning, reputation, employee engagement, issues management, and crisis communications.
• Coordinate with Global Media Relations and Investor Relations teams and manage the annual communications budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Native or near-native English skills, spoken and written.
• 10+ years of communications experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, or another relevant industry.
• Experience in strategic planning, global communications, crisis communications, issues management, press relations, and media engagement.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, communications strategies, Public Affairs, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear external messaging and manage budgets and timelines.

Nice to have

• Previous vaccines experience.
• Advanced degree such as an MA in Communications or Journalism, MBA, PharmD, or PhD.
• Experience with cardiovascular therapeutic areas.
