Senior Manager, Communications & Public Affairs (Hematology)

Location: Hybrid role based in Horsham, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $122,000–$212,750 base pay per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement integrated communications and public affairs strategies for the U.S. hematology portfolio, future indications, and product launches.
• Lead communications for portfolio priorities, including disease education, scientific milestones, regulatory decisions, approvals, launches, and major U.S. medical congresses.
• Build press releases, media materials, executive content, business updates, issues communications, and branded and unbranded campaigns across traditional, digital, and social channels.
• Lead patient and caregiver storytelling initiatives in partnership with advocacy organizations and cross-functional teams.
• Develop national, trade, and regional media relations strategies and support executive visibility, thought leadership, and reputation building.
• Direct agency partners, contractors, budgets, measurement plans, material approvals, and proactive issues management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Health, or a closely related field.
• 8+ years of relevant external and internal communications experience in a corporate, agency, nonprofit, government, or regulated healthcare environment.
• Experience developing integrated communications programs, media relations strategies, disease awareness or product communications, and approval or launch communications.
• Ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, and business information into clear and compelling communications.
• Experience with issues identification, scenario planning, crisis or issues management, project management, and budget prioritization.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, written, verbal, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to work without direct reporting-line authority.

Nice to have

• Product communications experience, particularly in oncology.
• Experience supporting new indications, regulatory achievements, and product launches.
• Experience with patient advocacy organizations, disease education, and branded or unbranded patient storytelling.
• Knowledge of public affairs, payer, and healthcare delivery environments.
