Source Research Project Lead (EUV/DUV)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; onsite work with regular campus and clean room activities

Annual base salary: $144,400–$198,550

What you will do

• Lead light-source research projects within the S-Next research program and align project roadmaps with program objectives.
• Create and maintain project plans covering experiments, testing, execution, reporting, and technical documentation.
• Lead the conception, evaluation, and experimental validation of technical concepts for next-generation EUV and DUV light sources.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and manage timing, budget, resourcing, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Drive demonstrations of system-wide performance targets and communicate project progress to senior management.
• Collaborate with controls, software, laser science, droplet-generator, and tin-management research teams.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in physics, laser engineering, photonics, or an equivalent technical field.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership across the full project life cycle.
• Experience with complex system design and build, characterization, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of scientific research methods, experimental design, and technical investigation.
• Ability to communicate clearly with varied audiences and lead research involving multiple stakeholders and constraints.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States export administration regulations before starting the role.
