Intern, Business (Space & Defense)

Location: Onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States; ability to relocate for the duration of the internship is required.

Salary: $21.42–$26.92 per hour.

What you will do

• Support the preparation and execution of key business operations activities.
• Assess Power & Data capabilities, markets, customer landscapes, and growth opportunities.
• Develop prioritized opportunity pipelines, business cases, and cross-selling strategies.
• Build reusable dashboards and decision-support models for opportunity evaluation and planning.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and help define action plans.
• Contribute to project processes, strategies, and execution as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Business, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; the department may specify an exact GPA requirement.
• Ability to work onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia, and relocate for the internship duration.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.
• Professional communication skills, willingness to learn, positive attitude, and ability to work in a team environment.
