Senior Technical SEO Analyst

Location: Remote within the United States and Canada

Annual base salary: $88,000–$123,000 USD for US-based roles; $92,000–$129,000 CAD for Canada-based roles.

What you will do

• Improve crawlability, indexation, rendering, site performance, structured data, internal linking, and international SEO.
• Diagnose complex technical SEO issues and prioritize solutions according to impact, effort, risk, dependencies, and business goals.
• Implement CMS changes and partner with Web Engineering on SEO requirements, acceptance criteria, and release quality assurance.
• Lead technical SEO workstreams for domain, CMS, platform, and acquired-site migrations, including redirect planning and post-launch remediation.
• Maintain taxonomy, structured-content, internal-linking, and data-quality systems for scalable content discovery.
• Build monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and repeatable analysis and quality-assurance workflows using AI, scripts, APIs, crawl, search, analytics, log, and CMS data.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience on a complex SaaS, enterprise, international, or multi-audience website.
• Strong knowledge of crawling, indexing, rendering, canonicals, redirects, sitemaps, robots directives, structured data, JavaScript SEO, Core Web Vitals, internal linking, and international SEO.
• Experience translating technical diagnoses into CMS changes, engineering requirements, release QA, and measurement.
• Experience with enterprise or headless CMS platforms, content models, publishing workflows, governance, data quality, and site migrations.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, crawl tools, Google Search Console, web analytics, and monitoring systems.
• Clear communication and cross-functional project leadership, with the ability to make independent decisions and present recommendations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Contentful, Vercel, Next.js, GitHub, GitLab, server-log analysis, observability, automated testing, or workflow automation.
• Experience with cybersecurity, developer products, or global websites serving business and consumer audiences.
