Pharmacy Technician (Sterile IV Compounding)

Location: Onsite in Kent, Washington, United States. Four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., four days per week between Monday and Sunday, with alternating weekends. Holidays and overtime as needed. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $20.23–$30.90 per hour.

What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile products and IV medications using aseptic technique under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Set up the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for sterile solution preparation.
• Participate in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepare records and monitor results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
• Perform assigned cleaning, maintenance, safety, and other pharmacy support duties.

Requirements

• Washington Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of the relevant technical field and ability to follow established procedures and detailed instructions.
• Ability to stand regularly, use hands for handling and reaching, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work the specified 4x10 rotating schedule, including alternating weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

Nice to have

• National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
• cGMP training or experience.
• Aseptic processing training or experience; training is provided.
