Branch Manager (Electrical Distribution)

Location: Modesto, California, United States — on-site

Salary: $88,833.33–$111,041.66 per year in California, plus a branch pool commission/bonus plan.

What you will do

• Lead branch operations, profitability, safety, personnel, facilities, inventory, equipment, and overall business results.
• Prepare and execute budgets while managing P&L, sales, gross earnings, net income, assets, and expenses.
• Develop, coach, motivate, and train branch personnel while addressing performance and staffing issues.
• Build customer and vendor relationships, support customer service, and drive customer adoption of digital tools.
• Oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, facility inspections, security, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, managers, and other partners; make deliveries and support branch activities when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sales, operations, electrical distribution, or a similar B2B industry.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year degree is preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, sales strategy, customer service, Microsoft Office, and an ERP system such as Solar Eclipse.
• Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• If deliveries are required: valid driver’s license, minimum age of 21, satisfactory motor vehicle record, required medical certification, and acceptable driving history.

Nice to have

• Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment certification.
• Experience managing P&L statements.
• Bachelor’s degree.
