Senior Cloud FinOps Analyst (Azure)

What you will do

• Develop and roll out cloud cost management policies, processes, and FinOps best practices.
• Identify Azure savings opportunities through resource optimization, rightsizing, and utilization tracking.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Finance, and Procurement teams to embed financial accountability.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, tabular data models, and spend reports.
• Establish Azure budgets, track consumption, and produce cloud cost forecasts.
• Deliver training, workshops, and FinOps maturity assessments to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Recognized FinOps Foundation certification, such as FinOps Certified Practitioner.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Cost Management, Reserved Instances, and Azure Advisor.
• Familiarity with FinOps tools such as Infracost.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Google Sheets, tabular data modeling, and semantic models.
• Proficiency with PowerShell for reporting automation and routine cost monitoring.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
