ClientTeam Counsel

Location: Remote; conditions listed as Portland, Oregon. Active licensure in Oregon and in the state of residence is required. Occasional in-person litigation activities and attendance at the annual attorney retreat may be required.

What you will do

• Defend employers in single- and multi-plaintiff employment litigation.
• Develop defense strategies and conduct legal research.
• Draft pleadings and dispositive motions.
• Manage discovery activities, including motion practice.
• Take or defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediation or trial when required by the jurisdiction and case.
• Work with attorneys, administrative professionals, dedicated client teams, and clients.

Requirements

• Active license in good standing in Oregon is required.
• Active licensure in the state of residence and any required local jurisdiction is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant employment litigation experience in-house or at a law firm.
• Excellent analytical, legal writing, organizational, multitasking, and client-service skills.
• Strong self-motivation, accountability, responsiveness, and collaborative interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
