Pediatric Oncology Nurse II Days (Pediatric Oncology)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every Saturday and Sunday plus a third shift; rotating holiday schedule.

Salary: $31.50–$55.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide nursing care for pediatric patients with hematology disorders, leukemia, and lymphoma.
• Support patients enrolled in current clinical treatment protocols.
• Perform pediatric assessments and interpret age-specific patient data.
• Assess and manage pain while addressing age-related care needs.
• Educate patients and families and collaborate with the clinical care team.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN and at least 18 months of clinical nursing experience.
• St. Jude or other registered nurse experience.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Experience in pediatric or oncology nursing, with strong clinical, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and patient-education skills.
• Current Tennessee nursing licensure is required for Tennessee residents or residents of non-Compact states; residents of Compact states must hold a license in their primary-residence state.

Nice to have

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification, as applicable.
• Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse certification.
• Oncology Certified Nurse certification.
• Knowledge of research protocols.
