Registered Nurse Medical Oncology Part-time Nights

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States. Part-time night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekends.

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care to acutely ill adult oncology patients through assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Care for patients receiving inpatient chemotherapy and symptom management across cancer diagnoses.
• Provide palliative, end-of-life, and hospice care.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, ancillary staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Document care, evaluate patient responses, and individualize care plans based on clinical findings.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
