Distribution Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead distribution and inventory-control operations while ensuring compliance with operational standards and local regulations.
• Train, motivate, mentor, and develop employees, including setting expectations, conducting reviews, and preparing development plans.
• Manage customer relationships, coordinate new accounts, and resolve complex customer issues and requests.
• Monitor department financial performance, accounts receivable, credit limits, customs guarantees, and the department P&L.
• Improve department processes, productivity, capacity, service quality, and operational metrics.
• Support compliance initiatives, systems utilization, equipment efficiency, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of related education and experience, or an equivalent combination.
• At least two years of experience in distribution or inventory control.
• Previous supervisory experience and proven leadership ability.
• Direct warehouse-related customer service experience, including planning, supervising, controlling, organizing, and staffing.
• Knowledge of inventory management, budgeting, accounting, customer relationship management software, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, initiative, autonomy, emotional resilience, and openness to feedback.
