Global Head of MES & Automation

What you will do

• Drive and audit the global MES strategy and roadmap across the hirify.global operations network.
• Lead the selection, design, deployment, and rollout of global MES, automation, infrastructure, and operational standards.
• Develop electronic batch recording standards and support generic Master Batch Record management for manufacturing sites.
• Ensure MES functionality, GxP compliance, and alignment with Quality Assurance, IT, Engineering, Operations, and Regulatory teams.
• Establish and manage global MES teams, governance, portfolio management, workforce planning, budgets, vendors, and change initiatives.
• Mentor MES experts and collaborate with senior leaders, site heads, platform operations, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• Many years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, development, or GMP manufacturing.
• Experience with GxP systems implementation, software development life cycle, project methodologies, and computer system validation.
• Expertise in GxP regulations, including 21 CFR Part 11, and successful IT or OT deployment leadership.
• Business-fluent English and German required.
• Strong strategic leadership, stakeholder management, program management, coaching, and communication skills in complex matrixed organizations.
