TL;DR

Location: US-PA-Cheswick (EMD); onsite role

Salary: $69,200–$115,300 per year

EMD, a Curtiss-Wright business unit, designs, manufactures, tests, and supports critical-function pumps, motors, generators, seals, control rod drive mechanisms, and power conditioning electronics for the United States Navy and commercial nuclear utility industry.

What you will do

  • Maintain detailed Critical Chain project schedules and provide accurate progress and completion-date forecasts.
  • Apply Theory of Constraints to identify project and manufacturing constraints and reflect their impact in project schedules.
  • Identify and help mitigate risks involving project setup, material delays, manufacturing prerequisites, and resource constraints.
  • Manage schedule buffers, analyze buffer health, and coordinate recovery actions to protect customer commitment dates.
  • Lead and participate in project meetings, communicating schedule health, upcoming activities, and project risks.
  • Align project completion dates with ERP/MRP schedules and provide inputs for invoice milestones and budgeted shop-hour projections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of MRP/CRP principles, bills of materials, routings, manufacturing processes, Theory of Constraints, and Critical Chain scheduling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across organizational levels.
  • Ability to analyze statistical data, solve problems, interpret findings, and recommend actions.
  • Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens and able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
