Capital Project Scheduler

Location: US remote; candidates must be based in the Central (CT) or Eastern (ET) time zones and able to commute to hirify.global facilities as business needs require. Travel of up to 25% is required.

Salary: $97,843–$152,880 annually, with an 8% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Develop, integrate, maintain, and update project schedules across front-end engineering, construction, and other project phases.
• Build schedule logic, sequencing, hierarchy, resource loading, and performance metrics in collaboration with project teams.
• Perform critical path and schedule risk analyses, identify constraints and deviations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead schedule review and status meetings and provide clear reports and insights for project and business decisions.
• Partner with engineering, construction, cost engineering, and project leadership teams on progress tracking, earned value, and change management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of scheduling experience on heavy industrial power generation, refining, or chemical process plant projects through the full lifecycle.
• Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks, adapt plans quickly, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Must be based in the Central or Eastern US time zones and able to commute to hirify.global facilities in the region.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of heavy industrial power generation, refining, or chemical process plant scheduling experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and familiarity with industry cost reporting techniques.
• Experience conducting schedule risk analysis with industry software.
