AI Workflow Engineer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, or Columbia, South Carolina, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional travel.

Base salary: $120,000–$145,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Build and orchestrate automation workflows using n8n, LLMs, and agentic frameworks.
• Automate ML model training for forecasting and intelligent decision support using MLflow.
• Integrate AI tools into business processes and data platforms.
• Develop autonomous intelligent agents, AI-powered chatbots, and assistants.
• Build interactive AI dashboards and applications with Streamlit and OpenWebUI.
• Implement document parsing, semantic search, vector retrieval, and LLM-based solutions using tools such as LlamaParse, Pinecone, OpenAI, and Anthropic Claude.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience building AI-powered automation workflows with n8n and LLMs.
• Experience designing and deploying ML models and intelligent agents.
• Proficiency with OpenAI, Anthropic, vector databases, Python, and ML/AI frameworks.
• Experience with OpenWebUI, Streamlit-based AI applications, and familiarity with Terraform.
• Ability to work in the Charlotte or Columbia office 4–5 days per week and travel occasionally for company events.
