Staff Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid; must reside within 70 miles of an office in Allen, Texas; Birmingham, Alabama; Cedar Falls, Iowa; Charlotte, North Carolina; Lenexa, Kansas; Louisville, Kentucky; Monett, Missouri; or Springfield, Missouri. Immigration sponsorship and support are not available, and U.S. work authorization is required.

What you will do

• Lead or contribute to technical design, prototyping, software development, testing, release, and production implementation.
• Analyze systems, develop and maintain applications, and resolve defects throughout the application lifecycle.
• Lead unit and integration testing to ensure software reliability, security, and performance.
• Review code, technical documentation, and engineering standards while supporting less experienced developers.
• Work with QA and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and make complex technical decisions.
• Contribute to product architecture, planning, estimation, and technical discussions.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of software development experience.
• At least 4 years of experience with C#.
• At least 3 years of experience with APIs or web services.
• Experience with design patterns and/or SOLID principles.
• Must reside within 70 miles of one of the specified U.S. office locations.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship or support now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with GCP or other cloud technologies.
• Experience with APIs, middleware, or multi-tenant software platforms.
