Senior Lead Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead client-funded software enhancements, solution implementations, and production deployments.
• Gather business requirements from financial institution clients and translate them into technical solutions.
• Manage requirements, effort estimation, testing coordination, release planning, and change management.
• Coordinate implementation activities across development, quality assurance, operations, support, and business teams.
• Facilitate client onboarding, monitor production performance, and support issue resolution.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle while ensuring regulatory and operational standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading software delivery and implementation projects in financial services or fintech.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and production support processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating work across business, technology, and operations teams from concept through production deployment.
• Experience with one or more of Custom Statement Formatter, mainframe production environments, JCL, COBOL applications, enterprise batch processing, document generation, or electronic document delivery technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with banking, payments, financial services applications, or customer communication management platforms.
• Experience with large-scale production implementations, client conversions, document delivery, statement processing, or regulated customer communications.
