Sr. Full Stack Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States. Employees near hirify.global offices may choose fully remote or hybrid work with office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, including 3–5 trips per year to the New York City or Reston, Virginia offices.

Salary: $154,000–$166,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and evolve scalable, secure, component-driven software and shared platform capabilities.
• Translate product capabilities into clear, testable engineering components and maintainable integrations.
• Apply Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to support reliable continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, designers, data partners, and other stakeholders on technical decisions and sprint planning.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, design reviews, incident resolution, and the evolution of engineering standards.
• Mentor team members, provide actionable feedback, and contribute to interviewing engineering candidates.

Requirements

• 7+ years of production-level software development experience across design, development, documentation, and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS Serverless technologies.
• Experience improving code structure and architecture for testability, maintainability, scalability, and reliability.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is required.
• Availability for 3–5 annual trips to the New York City or Reston, Virginia office is required.
