Senior Full Stack Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

Location: Remote - US; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. hirify.global does not provide immigration sponsorship. Employment is unavailable in Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and West Virginia. Occasional travel may be required for company events, team collaboration, or offsites.

Annual base salary: $187,000–$226,600 for Tier 3, $205,700–$249,260 for Tier 2, or $224,400–$271,920 for Tier 1, depending on location and other factors.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain performant, responsive, accessible web experiences.
• Own projects end to end, from discovery and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, measurement, and iteration.
• Build scalable frontend architecture, reusable components, and content models.
• Integrate web applications with CMS, analytics, experimentation platforms, APIs, and other hirify.global systems.
• Improve technical SEO, Answer Engine Optimization, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, reliability, and overall web quality.
• Shape platform direction through technical design, testing, code reviews, documentation, developer-experience improvements, and mentorship.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including production web applications at scale.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with browser behavior, responsive design, accessibility, caching, web performance, scalable frontend systems, and reusable component architectures.
• Experience integrating applications with APIs, content management systems, analytics platforms, experimentation systems, and other services.
• Knowledge of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, metadata, structured data, site architecture, redirects, canonicalization, and performance, plus familiarity with AEO and AI-powered discovery.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Payload CMS or another modern headless CMS, Astro, or similar web frameworks.
• Experience with internationalization and localization across large web properties.
• Experience with experimentation, conversion optimization, SEO, growth marketing, or content teams.
• Experience building structured content or content APIs for AI assistants, search systems, or downstream consumers.
• Experience modernizing or migrating large websites, CMS platforms, or frontend architectures.
