Network Engineer (Python)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; office attendance expected 4+ days per week

Salary: $142,000–$214,000 annually for Zone A; additional U.S. pay zones range from $121,000–$203,000 annually. Equity in the form of RSUs is included.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, operate, monitor, and maintain global enterprise and data center network infrastructure.
• Engineer network solutions aligned with business and performance requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies and prioritize acquisitions in line with IT roadmaps.
• Automate network infrastructure using scripting, continuous integration and deployment, source control, and configuration management.
• Collaborate with enterprise, security, and business stakeholders on incidents and infrastructure initiatives.
• Provide mentorship, communicate delivery dependencies and constraints, participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, and travel occasionally.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with core network technologies, routing, switching, implementation, and design.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and managing small- to medium-scale BGP deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with OSPF, packet analysis tools, LAN technologies, network security, monitoring, configuration management, and wireless networking.
• Experience with Python or shell scripting for network automation and Ansible for on-premise and cloud deployments using AWS or GCP.
• Ability to work in the Los Angeles office 4+ days per week and participate in 24/7 on-call coverage.
