IT Specialist (Cybersecurity)

Location: United Kingdom, with hybrid attendance at the London office near Farringdon station two days per week; availability to attend daily when needed. Some travel and holiday on-call support are required.

Base salary: £47,501–£55,665 per year.

What you will do

• Provide prompt, accurate, and empathetic technical support to employees through the IT ticketing system, email, and Slack.
• Maintain and troubleshoot IT assets, network, and A/V systems for the London office.
• Order, manage, and ship hardware worldwide while coordinating with London-based vendors.
• Manage employee onboarding and lifecycle processes involving tools, systems, and hardware in collaboration with HR and Recruiting.
• Diagnose hardware, software, peripheral, and equipment issues, resolving or escalating them according to severity.
• Provide on-call support, including some holidays, while improving IT security and compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in IT support, preferably in a remote or startup environment.
• Experience with macOS and Linux.
• Experience with mobile device management and Neat hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work from the London office two days per week and attend daily when required.
