Data Engineer (SAP BusinessObjects)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid attendance 2 to 3 times per week. Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

What you will do

• Develop, evolve, and migrate SAP BusinessObjects universes, including full migration from UNV to UNX.
• Administer SAP BusinessObjects platform components, including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Promotion Management, Lifecycle Management, and Auditing.
• Implement and manage SAP BusinessObjects security models covering users, groups, roles, entitlements, row-level security, object-level security, folder security, and access profiles.
• Manage integrations with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Teradata databases.
• Use Python and data visualization or data science tools such as Power BI and Dataiku.
• Collaborate with consultants, recruiters, and client organizations across technology sectors.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a SAP BusinessObjects Data Engineer.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP BusinessObjects, including universe design and migration using Information Design Tool and Universe Design Tool.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, and Python.
• Fluent English at B2 level.
• Availability for hybrid work in Lisbon 2 to 3 times per week and Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with Alteryx.
• Experience installing and configuring SAP BusinessObjects on enterprise Linux environments.
• Previous BNPP environment knowledge.
• Familiarity with digital product deployments and third-party data governance.
• French fluency at B2 level.
