TL;DR
Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure/GitHub): Migrating source repositories, CI/CD pipelines, integrations, secrets, and AI delivery tooling from Azure DevOps to GitHub with an accent on secure automation, developer platforms, and resilient migration planning. Focus on converting Azure Pipelines to GitHub Actions, rebuilding integrations and AI agents, automating bulk migrations through APIs, and executing phased cutovers with rollback plans.
Location: Remote from Poland; 6-month contract

What you will do
- Migrate code repositories from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise.
- Migrate and convert associated test and build pipelines to GitHub Actions.
- Rework Jira integration to connect GitHub pull requests with Jira work items.
- Migrate AI integrations and agents, including coding and pull request assistants.
- Rebuild ancillary services for storage, governance, security, secrets management, Slack, and software delivery.
- Document technical learnings and support stakeholders through the migration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise.
- Experience delivering large-scale source control or CI/CD migrations to GitHub.
- Strong experience converting Azure Pipelines into GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, composite actions, self-hosted runners, and environment protection rules.
- Experience with secure secrets migration, OIDC federation, Azure Key Vault, GitHub Apps, webhooks, branch protection, and ruleset policies.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go, plus working knowledge of Terraform and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Nice to have
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise Importer or similar migration tooling.
- Familiarity with AI agents, GitHub Copilot, MCP servers, and custom pipeline-triggered agents.

Hiring process
