TL;DR
Senior Platform Engineer (AI): Designing and evolving cloud platforms, Kubernetes environments, deployment systems, observability, and infrastructure for distributed workloads with an accent on scalability, reliability, security, and multi-region operation. Focus on improving developer experience, solving complex networking and infrastructure challenges, and adopting AI-powered tools for platform engineering workflows.
Location: Budapest, XI., Science Park; on-site Monday to Thursday and remote on Fridays

is an AI platform for financial advisors, providing workflow automation across meetings, documents, scheduling, email, reporting, and integrations.
What you will do
- Design and evolve cloud infrastructure with scalability, reliability, security, and multi-region operation in mind.
- Own Kubernetes environments, including cluster architecture, networking, workloads, scaling, and operational patterns.
- Improve the developer experience from local development through CI/CD and production.
- Design network topologies and build meaningful observability for complex production systems.
- Support stateful and distributed systems and collaborate with software engineers on infrastructure and architecture decisions.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation and adopt AI-powered tools that improve platform engineering workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating production cloud infrastructure; AWS experience is preferred.
- Deep Kubernetes knowledge, strong Linux fundamentals, and strong networking skills covering DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud networking.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform, and with building CI/CD platforms from pull request to production.
- Scripting or software engineering skills in Python or Go, plus experience with observability, monitoring, distributed systems, and highly available services.
- Strong English and Hungarian communication skills are required.
Nice to have
- Database administration experience, particularly with MySQL.
- Experience with Temporal or similar durable execution and workflow technologies.
- Experience with data-intensive platforms, data engineering, multi-region infrastructure, or internal developer platforms.
- Experience in a fast-moving product or startup environment.
