What you will do
- Procure raw materials, packaging, and finished goods based on production plans and forecasts.
- Monitor inventory and maintain appropriate safety stock levels to support production continuity.
- Maintain accurate material, supplier, and pricing data in SAP.
- Analyze demand, inventory, and procurement performance.
- Support supplier negotiations and coordinate claims, complaints, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Planning, Sourcing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to improve procurement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or material planning.
- Professional proficiency in German and English, written and spoken.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple purchasing priorities and meet time-sensitive production requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience purchasing materials in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with inventory management, safety stock, and demand analysis.
- Experience supporting supplier negotiations and supplier performance management.
