Commercial Project Support Trainee (Energy)

What you will do

• Support the commercial implementation of long-term service contracts and open-market projects in the energy sector.
• Coordinate logistics for spare parts, tools, consumables, and services, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with commercial project managers, logistics experts, field service teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support export control, customs, tax documentation, project master data, and internal audit preparation.
• Assist with project cost analysis and forecasting, cost corrections, project closings, and data clean-up.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the commercial project support function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, or a similar field.
• Initial practical experience in project management or support functions such as purchasing, logistics, or controlling.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and interest in learning about IFRS regulations.
• Advanced MS Office skills and ideally basic SAP knowledge.
• Very good English skills; German is advantageous but not required.
• Strong focus on quality, teamwork, customer results, and independent work in an international environment.
