Cards Experience Guide (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Istanbul, or Sofia; after three months, work 2 days remotely and 3 days in the office each week.

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve card chargebacks, refunds, and disputes using transaction data, account history, and merchant evidence.
• Make accurate, well-reasoned decisions within card scheme deadlines, including cases involving incorrect deliveries, ATM issues, and partial merchant refunds.
• Keep users informed throughout each case with clear, honest, and empathetic updates.
• Explain declined disputes in plain language and ensure users understand the outcome.
• Use AI tools to research cases, identify dispute patterns, summarize feedback, and suggest root causes.

Requirements

• Strong investigation and evidence-analysis skills with careful attention to detail.
• Ability to follow process steps, select appropriate reason codes, and flag unclear cases instead of guessing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English is required.
• Experience with card disputes, chargebacks, or payment operations is welcome; Mastercard rules knowledge is advantageous.
• For the Amsterdam position: native Dutch and willingness to obtain the Wft Consumptief Krediet certificate are required.
