Salary: $185,200–$277,800 USD (Zone D), $196,100–$294,100 USD (Zone C), $207,000–$310,400 USD (Zone B), or $217,800–$326,800 USD (Zone A), depending on location and market conditions.

What you will do

• Command complex, high-impact security incidents from assessment through containment, recovery, and closure.
• Investigate threats across endpoints, identity, cloud, SaaS, networks, and applications.
• Reconstruct timelines, preserve evidence, and determine incident scope and business impact.
• Coordinate containment, remediation, priorities, decisions, owners, and handoffs across teams and time zones.
• Lead post-incident reviews and turn findings into completed technical and process improvements.
• Build code, queries, automation, and AI-assisted workflows that accelerate investigations, evidence collection, and response.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on incident response and digital forensics experience.
• Experience commanding major security incidents involving multiple teams and competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of attacker behavior and depth in identity, endpoint, cloud, network, or application security.
• Strong SQL, database, log-analysis, programming, and scripting skills, including practical Python experience.
• Experience analyzing large datasets, building reliable investigation tools, and developing AI-assisted systems and processes.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, an engineering mindset, and experience mentoring responders.
