TL;DR
Technical Procurement Specialist (Technology Procurement): Leading strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, supplier management, and contract lifecycle activities for software, technology services, and strategic partnerships with an accent on commercial value, stakeholder alignment, and large-scale technology projects. Focus on evaluating suppliers, optimizing costs and terms, and supporting cloud infrastructure, content delivery, and other technology procurement initiatives.

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

  • Lead strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions with technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners.
  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requirements gathering and supplier evaluation through contract execution and renewal.
  • Drive procurement for software, licensing, IT services, and other technology solutions.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, including Legal and Finance, and provide commercial recommendations to senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • Develop business cases focused on cost optimization and improved commercial terms.
  • Support large-scale technology projects and procurement initiatives through successful implementation.

Requirements

  • Extensive procurement experience, ideally in technology, software, IT services, or a related field.
  • Experience managing sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work strategically and hands-on in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-driven and proactive approach with the ability to lead initiatives independently.

Nice to have

  • Experience procuring cloud infrastructure, content delivery networks, or similar large-scale technology services.
  • Experience in the media and entertainment industry.
