Location: Fort Worth, Texas; requires travel between university campuses and the ability to work at any campus as needed. The role requires prompt in-person response to after-hours building emergencies, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Annual base salary: $53,745–$76,321, commensurate with experience and subject to funding availability.

What you will do
- Lead and coordinate daily facility operations and maintenance across assigned university campuses.
- Oversee third-party facilities services, including maintenance, custodial, grounds, environmental, and construction-related activities.
- Monitor facility conditions, coordinate repairs and operational projects, and resolve maintenance issues.
- Maintain service quality and performance standards through quality assurance and quality control.
- Manage building proctors, office relocations, and facility-related activities across assigned campuses.
- Serve as the primary contact for building emergencies and as a Campus Security Authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least five years of related experience, including three years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to manage facility maintenance and operations, priorities, deadlines, and time-critical situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with diverse stakeholders and service providers.
- Ability to respond promptly to on-site emergency calls and work outside standard hours when required.
- Employment may be affected if immigration sponsorship is required; the university will not pay the $100,000 H-1B petition fee.
