Graduate Analyst Internship Programme (12 Months) - Life Sciences Consulting

What you will do

• Contribute to project methodology development and brainstorming sessions.
• Conduct independent desk research using internal and external sources across global markets.
• Create sections of client reports and presentations under supervision.
• Support strategic projects covering brand strategy, market access, launch excellence, portfolio strategy, patient and physician insights, and healthcare innovation.
• Develop knowledge of IQVIA data sources, healthcare systems, consulting methodologies, and international commercial environments.
• Collaborate with international and virtual project teams across cultures, geographies, and time zones.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong academic record.
• Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, biotechnology, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, business, data science, computer science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Analytical, interpretative, problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Commercial awareness, interest in healthcare, attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
• Excellent IT literacy, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Must have the right to work in South Africa; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Honours, Master's, or PhD qualification in life sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Exposure to consulting, analytics, research, or related extracurricular activities.
• Interest or experience in AI, machine learning, data science, advanced analytics, automation, Python, R, or SQL.
