EHS&S Translation Coordinator

Location: Remote, Iowa, United States
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Manage EHS&S translation projects in Phrase Translation Management System, including project initiation, progress tracking, reviews, revisions, and approvals.
• Prepare source content and coordinate with translation validators to ensure accuracy, consistent terminology, and alignment with source requirements.
• Format localized documents, presentations, e-learning courses, videos, captions, subtitles, graphics, and on-screen text.
• Resolve formatting and technical issues caused by translation or language expansion and perform final quality checks.
• Publish approved content to SharePoint, the Learning Management System, and other designated platforms while maintaining language versions, metadata, and version control.
• Track project metrics and identify improvements to translation quality, efficiency, and workflow processes.

Requirements

• Must work remotely from Iowa, United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively across functions and geographies, and communicate risks or delays.
• Ability to use technology and digital platforms, follow established processes, and resolve content, formatting, and technical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and effective stakeholder relationships.

Nice to have

• Experience with Phrase or another Translation Management System and with translation or localization projects.
• Experience with multilingual content, global audiences, e-learning authoring tools, or multilingual document, presentation, video, and course formatting.
• Experience with LMS, SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Deepl, Trados, or other CAT tools.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, education, instructional design, translation, language studies, business, or a related field.
• Translation, localization, or related certification.
