TL;DR

Estonian Freelance Translators (Trademark Translation/Localization): Translating and post-editing European Union trademark content into Estonian, including lists of goods and services and product indications used in trademark registration, with an accent on linguistic accuracy and ISO17100 compliance. Focus on working with translation memories, machine translation proposals, and SDL Trados Studio across regular assignment batches.

Location: Estonia (Remote)

hirify.global is building a freelance translator network for a long-term European Union trademark translation project.

What you will do

Translate lists of goods and services into Estonian.
Translate product indications used in trademark registration.
Post-edit machine-translated content where applicable.
Complete several assignment batches per week with generally low but regular volumes.

Requirements

Experience translating into Estonian.
Interest or experience in Bulgarian–Estonian, Croatian–Estonian, Latvian–Estonian, Lithuanian–Estonian, Maltese–Estonian, or Romanian–Estonian language combinations.
Diploma and/or relevant experience meeting ISO17100 criteria.
Ability to complete a short translation test if selected.

Nice to have

Additional source languages alongside one or more of the listed combinations.
